In-Person and Online Psychotherapy in Virginia and Maryland
How can I help you?
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or facing a persistent sense of loneliness or disconnection, therapy can offer insight, clarity, and help you rediscover a sense of purpose.
With over 25 years of clinical experience and more than a decade teaching and directing graduate programs in psychology, I bring a strong foundation in both the science and art of psychotherapy. I help individuals and families navigate anxiety, stress, relational struggles, and existential concerns using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with insight-oriented and meaning-focused work.
My goal is to support you in cultivating connection, resilience, and a more grounded sense of self so you can live with greater intention and well-being.
The Trusted Roots Mission
At Trusted Roots Psychotherapy, I provide evidence-based, culturally responsive care that supports meaningful, lasting change. My approach is rooted in psychological science and clinical expertise, with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other empirically-supported methods. I work collaboratively with clients to address challenges such as anxiety, stress, relational issues, and identity concerns. While honoring the complex interplay of mind, body, and environment, I aim to help individuals build insight, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. I bring a deep respect for each client’s lived experience and am committed to providing inclusive, personalized, and ethically grounded care.
